CORE MAKING

Core making forms the interior casting and can be either sand or metal in composition. The cast moulding provides a space for the molten metal while the core is used to extend the space, or make more complex shapes within the mould.

Core making incorporates semi automatic, PLC controlled core blowers using the Cold Box binding process. This method ensures dimensionally stable cost effective core production and enables us to offer short run prototype work and higher volume production, dependent upon our customers’ requirements.
