Norton Cast have invested heavily in a high temperature gas fired heat treatment furnace capable of temperatures of up to 1275 degrees centigrade.
The furnace has a water quench facility with automatic tray removal. The time interval from furnace to agitated, externally cooled quench tank is less than 45 seconds.
